When the book opened.

"When the book opened." Oriana finished closing the book.

"When the book opened what?" Luca bounced on his bed.

"Yeah, then what?" Luca's twin Luigi patted his legs.

"You'll just have to wait til the next time I babysit you to find out. Or pick up the book and read it yourself." She set the book carefully on the shelf by the door, as if to dare them to read it. She turned off the light and shut the door before heading to the living room.

Out of all the kids she watched these were her favorite. After making dinner they just wanted her to read to them, one series after another. The parents paid well and she could use the internet for anything she wanted, it was great.

She fell asleep reading, this was the first time they were late. She didn't know what they were doing, she never asked. She woke up to getting poked by Luca. "What time is it? are your parents home?" 9am, and no missed calls or text. "I'll make breakfast, give me a bit." She ruffled his hair. "Go wake your brother."

While they were eating there was a knock on the font door. "Nobody uses the front door" Luigi said setting down his silverware, Luca copied him. Both looked very worried.

"It is prob nothing. Stay, eat, i'll get the door." She gave them her best fake smile, but something did feel off.

She opened the front door and found two police officers. "Fanculo"
