Payday

You get paid, what do you do? You start running around with your head chopped off. I typically stay up until the money hits my account (direct deposit is amazing) and pay whatever bills I can, right now that is my car insurance. I check my account is my transfer for my phone payment in place? Yes? Great. I set aside the money for rent and my car payment. I want to cry, I use to be able to make my car payment when I got paid. Now I’m twiddling my thumbs while I wait for the car insurance to tell me “hey come here and make your first payment”…I know how much it is going to be at least. And I can’t pay rent until my roommates are ready. Actually I’m very tempted to run to the store and make the payment without them. I can’t wait until I get the stupid direct deposit so I can make the payment as soon as I get paid.

Actual bills paid or set aside for what do I need to pay for this month? Crap, I need a DL for this state… Where the hell is this place… my gps says its inside of the hardware store… calling them they are around the side of the damn building… okay… hey waze, I have a new location for you… and here is all the random information. Did you know you can only have one DL for the entire country and as of last month you get a state ID or a DL? Guess who loses her home state residency… L

I get home and there is a job offer in my in box… My resume is out of a date, so I work on that while trying to help my kid with his school work. I get a phone call, a quick interview, and my daughter gets home and bugs me while I’m on the phone. I get her cleaned up and out of the house while finishing my interview and then there is a knock on the door… hey can you watch the twins? I get down there and realize that my roommates need a ride to school… I run them over and then get back and the parents get home. I take my kid to a hobby store, and to a buffet as a treat, trying to do something nice. We even kill some time in the game store that is next door, get home I barely get him into his bed when my roommates tell me they need a ride home. As soon as I’m done with that my friend wants to know if I can chat.

I have school work that I should be doing right now…but I need to update my budget. Okay now school, no my roommates want to talk, fuck it, I’ll do it tomorrow…
