Dead realization
It was one of those timeless moments that people are talking about, you know, the one where they said it felt like hours and seconds at the same time? Yeah, totally had one of those. I was just there, staring at the red in front of me. It was a really pretty shade and the lighting gave it this really interesting effect. It took me a while to realize that it was expanding, less and less of the surface was showing. Around this point I realized it was blood, but that didn’t bother me. I actually found it comforting for some reason. It was still comforting to realize that the warm liquid was my blood.
The “oh crap” moment was when I realized that the body I was looking at, was mine. Heh, I thought my hair was darker than that…
