She sat on the highest branch that she could trust and relaxed into the tree. One of her hands reached out to catch whatever droplets fell. The crisp smell was a relaxing smell. She hadn’t realized how desperately she needed the reprieve. The warm rain got cooler as it found detours on its way to her.
She closed her eyes and tried to relax. The rain hitting her face and the top of her head made her flinch at first but she soon got use to the feeling. She could feel her clothes get heavy with the moisture.
The trails of water that ran down her reminded her of a past lover. She missed having someone to explore, having someone explore her. It was always exciting and felt so good to be explored, even when it was not arousing. Exploring was nice, the textures under her fingertips. She smiled at the thought of the parts that made the difference, both fun and the lover’s responses made it more than worthwhile.
