Lexi absentmindedly took the stack of books from the person in front of her. “The Art of War, On War, The Things They Carried, War and Peace, Black Hawk Down, For Whom the Bell Tolls and The Game.” She smiled, “This is a nice reading list, Mister, I’m sorry, I don’t recognize you.”
He held out his hand, when she took it he turned it over and kissed the back of it. “You may call Dawn, you wonderful voluptuous goddess.”
“Pretty words, sir. Do you have a library card?” She smiled at him.
“I would like one as well as a date. I have something for you. I believe this is your favorite?” He handed over a package wrapped in teal rabbit fur.
When she opened it was her favorite top, and the proper size. “How?” She laughed, her eyes looked at the camera.
“I’m standing right here, not on the other side of the lense. So how about that date? After you check me the books.”
