"Noses being too runny"

Bidy ruffled his feathers and bobbed his head in frustration. “Sammy.” He said yet again.

“Can’t pay Bidy.” Her voice smothered by her face being into her pillow.

“Sammy okay?” He walked along her head board lifting his legs as high as he could go, sometimes the same leg came up twice before he made a step.

“Not okay.” She barely lifted her head to talk and took a great effort in breathing.

“Bidy help Sammy.” Bidy bobbed not knowing what he could do.

"Noses being too runny" Sammy sniffed.
